Vulture Feather
Vulture Feather is a post/pre/future punk band formed from the mountains of northern California featuring members of the Baltimore band Wilderness. These songs are amorphous vessels encapsulating the dream-like, liminal fields that all of us as beings are passing through from one moment to the next. The spaces in between the events that seem to be arising incessantly from the powerful projector that is our mind. Beyond the reaches of time, neither remaining nor departing.
Fashion Club
Fashion Club is the solo recording project of Los Angeles based musician Pascal Stevenson, also a founding member of Moaning. Combining a love of auteur sound production and devastating pop songwriting, Fashion Club is a complex self-portrait. She explores the mind's complex relationship to morality, and the way structures of power tend to replicate themselves through unexamined habits.
Stevenson has been diligently crafting tracks for the project since 2018 while being a founding member of Moaning (Sub Pop) and contributing to bands like Shit Giver. Part of the fertile Los Angeles DIY scene for more than a decade, Stevenson has also produced an album by Lunch Lady (Upset The Rhythm), contributed bass on some songs for Sasami’s (Domino) debut album, played bass live in the past with Cherry Glazerr (Secretly Canadian) and presently with Girlpool (Anti). Stevenson’s debut album Scrutiny was released this year on Fete.
Cupid & Psyche
A new project from Michael Vidal and Juan Valesquez – the co-founders of Los Angeles punk band Abe Vigoda. Their debut album titled Romantic Music drops in fall of 2023 on the felte label.
Felte Records
Felte is an independent record label originally formed in Brooklyn and based in Los Angeles since 2014. The label’s aesthetic gravitates towards moody, atmospheric, and texturally dynamic sounds and imagery. The roster includes Ganser, Sextile, Ashley Shadow, Mint Field, Deserta, Fashion Club, Public Memory, Chasms, Houses of Heaven, Ritual Howls, Odonis Odonis and more.
